Asia was a BBC landmark series produced by BBC Studios Natural History Unit in 2024. Telling stories of epic landscapes and spectacular wildlife from the biggest continent on Earth over 7 episodes and narrated by Sir David Attenborough.
We had some ambitious objectives including to launch the series on a similar scale to Planet Franchise series and reach new audiences through marketing and digital partnerships with a focus on under 24s. We produced 60,30,15 promo trails, 7 x 30" episode trails, hero key art and episode images for global partners including BBC America, ZDF and France Television.
On social we engaged with influencers Ms Shi and Mr He and Jocie B to create unique posts on YouTube, Tik ToK, Instagram and BBC Earth platform inspired by the series. We also partnered with local Indian Rangoli artist Bhagyashree to create a unique piece of Asia inspired art.
