Launching the highly anticipated third series of the world’s most popular television series of all time. Our objective was to transport audiences to incredible habitats and connect them with the animals and humans who live there. We created an epic returning blockbuster treatment and applied it to all campaign assets, using the ‘III’ as an iconic window to reveal amazing content. With an Oscar winning composer creating the score and ground-breaking filming techniques, it had all the key blockbuster ingredients.
We produced series lead and episode key art, 60, 30, 20" launch trail and episodic 30 second trails on air and online along with global clips, vertical cutdowns and 3D ads on social. To reach new younger audiences on digital we recruited influencers with 16+ million followers on Tik Tok to commentate on global series clips, our highest rated clip receiving 9.2 million views. Planet Earth III was the biggest returning Factual title across all of TV in 2023, receiving 8 million views and we reached a new generation of fans on TikTok, BBC Earth and YouTube smashing our key brief objectives.
